                                           Common Errors and their Solution

       Invalid IP Numbers: 

                 

                       You need to check in your Online List of Employees, as there would be some IP’s in your MC Excel but you haven’t added them to your Online List of Employees.

a.     OR

b.    MC Excel must be having IPs which are present in the List of Employees but their DoJ is after the month for which the Contributions are being filled. 

      Contribution details need to be specified:

                         

                       Check the online “List of IP’s”, there must be some IP’s in that List but not in your MC Excel. You can remove those IP’s which are not working with the Employers by giving a valid reason.

a.     OR

b.    Check for formatting for these IP’s there must be a difference in format of these erroneous IPs and other IPs.

       Please Enter Valid Days or Wages for IP’s:

                      Check for formatting for values in Days / Wages column for these IP’s. There must be a difference between these ones and the other ones. Keep note of the small green symbol at top left of the cell, That sign is for “number stored as text” so you can convert them to text by selecting entire cells, go to 

                        DATA -> Text to Column -> Select “Delimited” -> Next -> Finish.

       IP DETAILS ALREADY EXISTS :

                    But showing  Error while uploading Excel as “ CONTRIBUTION DETAILS NEED TO BE SPECIFIED”

a.       THIS MEANS IP WHICH YOU ARE TRYING TO INSERT IS ALREADY THERE IN FORM 3/LIST OF EMPLOYEES

b.      SOLUTION

·         PLEASE CROSS CHECK THAT IN FORM3/LIST OF EMPLOYEES TO VERIFY WHETHER THE IP NUMBER EXISTS.  IF IT IS THERE IN FORM 3/LIST OF EMPLOYEES THEN FOLLOW NEXT STEP.

·         GO TO UPDATE IP DETAILS OPTION AND CHECK THE DATE OF APPOINTMENT FALLS WITH IN THE MC PERIOD. IF DOA IS OK, THEN CHECK WHETHER ALL MADATORY ARE FILLED. AFTER MAKING CHANGES, CLICK ON UPDATE BUTTON.

      Null Values Present: 

                       Delete all rows / columns present beyond the last row of Details in MC Excel.
